We are thrilled to announce the successful training of more than 1,000 health professionals in the Ninawa region of Northern Iraq. This significant achievement covers key areas such as Emergency Medicine, Mental Health, Gender-Based Violence (GBV) prevention, Infection Prevention and Control, and Child Nutrition.
As part of this effort, we have established an International Accredited Training Center at Al-Salam Hospital in Mosul City, fully equipped with advanced training tools and technologies. This center stands as a beacon of excellence in healthcare education in the region. Additionally, we have trained five doctors from the Directorate of Health in Ninawa as certified trainers. These doctors are now empowered to continue delivering high-quality training, ensuring the sustainability of this initiative even after the project's completion.
This remarkable accomplishment is a part of our broader IMDAD project, implemented in partnership with Malteser International and supported by the German Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).
We are proud to contribute to the strengthening of the healthcare system in Iraq and to support the ongoing development of health professionals in the region.
يسعدنا أن نعلن عن نجاح تدريب أكثر من 1000 متخصص في مجال الصحة في منطقة نينوى في شمال العراق. ويغطي هذا الإنجاز المهم مجالات رئيسية مثل طب الطوارئ والصحة العقلية والوقاية من العنف القائم على النوع الاجتماعي والوقاية من العدوى ومكافحتها وتغذية الأطفال.
وكجزء من هذا الجهد، أنشأنا مركز تدريب معتمد دوليًا في مستشفى السلام في مدينة الموصل، ومجهز بالكامل بأدوات وتقنيات تدريبية متقدمة. ويمثل هذا المركز منارة للتميز في تعليم الرعاية الصحية في المنطقة. بالإضافة إلى ذلك، قمنا بتدريب خمسة أطباء من مديرية الصحة في نينوى كمدربين معتمدين. وأصبح هؤلاء الأطباء الآن قادرين على مواصلة تقديم تدريب عالي الجودة في مجال طب الطوارئ، وضمان استدامة هذه المبادرة حتى بعد اكتمال المشروع.
هذا الإنجاز الرائع هو جزء من مشروعنا الأوسع نطاقًا أمداد IMDAD، والذي يتم تنفيذه بالشراكة مع منظمة مالتيزر الدولية Malteser International وبدعم من وزارة التعاون الاقتصادي والتنمية الألمانية (BMZ).
